Exact Solutions Releases iWatch™ 6.0

Exact Solutions, Inc. announces the general availability of iWatch™ Release 6.0, the most recent update to the company’s best-of-breed standard for SQL Query-Level Performance Monitoring.
Key enhancements include improvements in the search and alerting facilities, and support for new options such as the forthcoming iWatch Enterprise Manager (Web Console), and full integration support for Lumigent Technology’s Audit DB family of Audit & Compliance solutions.

Unlike traditional performance monitors that operate at the database-level or OS level, iWatch uses a passive network listening model that does not require the use of intrusive operations. This advantage allows iWatch to operate continuously even in critical production environments, without the risk that the monitoring process might add unacceptable levels of overhead to the underlying application.

iWatch 6.0 is available now for Sybase, Oracle, IBM UBD/DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server databases, and can run on most Unix/Linux variants and Windows.
